Filmmaker David Mailman recently featured Constant Billy in the soundtrack to his new movie,
"A Life of the Sea: the Jim Manzolillo Story." It's a fascinating look at the life story of the founder of the Houston Maritime Museum and closes with CB singing the old shanty "Santiano." On to Hollywood!

Waldo's Coffee House 1030 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008-6914 (713) 869-0700 in the Houston Heights. And we will also have a set of Welsh music performed by Independent Music Award-winning guitarist Chris Grooms!
Who knows- Chris just may join us for a few songs! It’s an intimate setting and an early evening, so come early and fill up with Fine Music! No cover; $5 per head to BYOB. Free parking in front and in back.
- Saturday February 11, 2012 at Noon it’s the Rory Miggins Memorial Irish Stew Cook-Off INSIDE at Lucky’s Pub 801 St Emanuel St, Houston, TX 77003. This is a huge, all-day shindig to raise money for a number of worthy causes including the Houston St. Patrick’s Day Parade and KPFT. Live music and dance, food and “more fun than you can shake a shillelagh at!” There is an outside stage and an inside stage with continuous entertainment from noon to 6pm. We’re pleased to be asked to kick things off at the inside stage at NOON.

Dulce, 6734 Westheimer Lakes Dr., Katy TX 77494-5712 (just off the Westpark tollway) call 1-281-394-7772 (don’t forget to dial the 1 first if calling from Houston). Dulce is a small café attached to a bakery and has live music early on Fridays and Saturdays.
Our pal Mike Roberts who plays his brand of pop acoustic Americana at Dulce every Friday from 7-10 has turned us on to this great new spot. Check out Dulce’s Facebook page and feel free to lust after their pastries, cakes and cupcakes (some of it gluten-free!) Then come out and chomp some down to the music of Constant Billy!

Griff's Shenanigans Cafe & Bar, 3416 Roseland Street Houston, TX 77006-4307 (713) 528-9912. Houston Celtic Diva Dianna Shipman has organized this Memorial Wake for the much-lamented singer Richard E. McGinty, former musical director of Celtic Chorus of Houston. Like any good Irish wake, there will be music and fun, and also tributes to the Great Man himself.
We also hope to raise funds for Richard E.’s son Richard D. who is currently recovering from a severe (and expensive) stroke. We are honored to be asked to be a part of this wonderful event. More details about plans and performers as they become available.

“Irish Aires” radio show at Houston’s
KPFT 90.1FM. Fearsome good music.
- Sunday February 26 2012 from 3:30-4:30pm Constant Billy will perform at
