Bill has had minor hand surgery, so we’ll rest and recuperate, and start gigging again in May 2024. Thanks to all who have wished Bill a quick recovery!
Saturday April 27, 2024 Constant Billy performs at a private event in Salem, Oregon.
Saturday May 4th, 2024, from 11:30am-12:15pm Emily and Bill perform on the Lawn Stage at the 38th Sheep to Shawl Festival at
Willamette Heritage Center, 1313 Mill St SE, Salem, OR 97301. Constant Billy will perform 11:30am-12:15pm.
Since 1985, this festival has highlighted the entire wool production process from sheep shearing all the way to a beautiful woven product. Lots of demos, exhibits, entertainment, vendors, live animals, games, and food & drink!
The whole event runs from 10am-4pm. Other entertainment: The Salem Madrigal Singers come on stage right after us at 12:30, followed by the Old Time Fiddlers. And the truly remarkable Gordon Munro will spin his historical stories from 12-2pm on the WHC warehouse porch. Word to the Wise: do NOT miss the Duck Races on the Mill Stream! Demonstrations include sheep shearing and weaving, and there’s a rumor that Salem’s fave critter, Caesar the No-Drama Llama will put in an appearance! Great for kids-Bring the whole family!! Admission is FREE!! It will be a wild and WOOLY time!
